Make small steps and have patience, let the relation slowly develop in time. Do not overwhelm him with gifts and under no circumstance talk about kids and marriage at this stage. Have fun together and get to know each other more and enjoy the time spend one next to each other. Relax and feel good without thinking too much about anything else in the world. Honesty plays an important role in any relationship. Be honest with him and with yourself, apologize when you make mistakes and talk to him when you are feeling down or upset. Do not criticize and do not judge him on each steps he makes. Be positive and find solutions together. Talk with him and use a large dose of humor to ease things on you and him; just stay happy. Tell him about your wishes and desires even if they do not match his; do this making sure not to use words that may upset him or force him to change himself or his lifestyle. This will make him aware of your needs and pleasures and it will give him a challenge and interest regarding your individuality. Learn from him what he likes and try to make him share his interests with you. Respect his hobbies and he will respect you more. Surprise him and make or buy him an unexpected gift from time to time. A good relation is a symbiotic, not a parasitic one. Keep in mind to share your thoughts and be honest with each other, learn to openly communicate about anything and not to be selfish with each other. Adapt your relation and try to keep it open to new experiences. Learn together, grow and develop together, and while you are doing so, have fun and enjoy each other. Be gentile and do not try to force the other into something that he or she does not desire. Learn a little diplomacy and use a lot of patience. Never try to get more attention by cheating on him as he could also cheat on you and eventually the relation will be lost forever. Do not blackmail him with sex, it is unfair and he will find himself humiliated and in most cases he will find what he desires elsewhere, avoiding the subject altogether when next to you. You can tell your girlfriends how things are in your relation, but be sure that you never cross the line and talk bad about him in front of them. Keep your friends out of your relation and do not let them get too involved in your personal problems unless you feel abused or forced by him. Never make him jealous to get attention.
