Start With The Gun and Rifle SitesRedfield, Bushnell, Leupold, Zeiss, Tasco, Weaver, Burris, and Simmons are just a few of the manufacturers that run excellent online sites that are packed with information relating to their products.

Each manufacturer has a full line of spotting and rifle scopes and many also offer binoculars and telescopes. Their scopes and other products all vary in quality and cost and there are generally differences in product that are reflected in a higher or lower cost.

That's why it is so important to spend time reading as many scope reviews as you can. Then you'll have to digest what you've read and start to make some buying decisions.

Besides the reviews there are some terrific shooting and hunting publications available for free online. There's plenty of useful information to be found there.

Scope It OutWhat you know for sure is that you need to buy a scope. Perhaps you've even already narrowed your search down to a few scopes. Trouble is there are so many brands, shapes, sizes, and styles to choose from and selecting the right one can be enough to drive you over the top.

Heck just when you thought you had it figured out along comes another scope. Zeroing in on the right one doesn't have to be that difficult. Here are just a few suggestions.1. Buy one of each manufacturer and then try them out to find out which is for you. Grant it this could be a little hard on the pocket book.2. Subscribe to online shooting and hunting magazines.3. Read online reviews and see what others are saying.4. Visit online shooting and hunting forums and listen to what others think. In fact why not get into a few discussions?

Who Do Ya Trust?Instead of singing who do you luv you'll be singing who do ya trust? You've decided on a scope, have read the reviews, and feel confident this is the one for you but can you really trust the reviews you've read? How do you know they aren't planted by the manufacturer?

Well you can't be sure but then is anything in life for sure? What you need to do is read and then weed through and take what feels right and leave the rest behind. Go with your instinct. It's never let you down before it won't now.

Most reviews are written by hunters, sports enthusiasts, and even professionals who have used a variety of scopes and have some terrific information to share.

So if the time has come to make a decision about a new scope why not start with rifle scope reviews and see where that leads you.
