How To Make Yourself Sick: Techniques For Avoiding Boring Days In School



School can get tough sometimes. If you want to skip school because you did not prepare for a difficult test, here is a guide on how to fake being sick and determine your parents to let you stay at home instead of going to school.

The best day to fake being sick in order to avoid school is Wednesday. Because it is in the middle of the week, no one will consider to be an important day, and you will be able to "get well" until the weekend arrives, so you can play or do whatever you want. Never fake being sick on a Monday, that will tell your parents that you do not want to go to school, because you want an extended weekend.

Also, the best days to call in sick for school are when an illness is scooping around. Learn a little about the symptoms and simulate that you are suffering from that particular illness; that will make the whole thing more credible.

Waking up in the morning and just saying that you feel sick will not work that well, if you do not perform some preparing tasks. For instance, think before what sickness you are about to have, and, during the night before, wake up your parents and tell them about your symptoms. In the evening, start pretending that your stomach hurts, by eating very little or by showing signs that you have difficulty to concentrate on the things that you do. Another thing you can appeal to is a sore throat, but do not overdo this act if your parents are overprotective, or you will end up in the emergency room before you know it. Just pretend that you feel a scratchy sensation in your throat, and clear your voice from time to time. Pretending to have a flu is also a good solution. A stuffed nose, sneezing, a red face will tell your parents that you are not doing so great.

A good act suppose you to go to bed early; pretend that you forgot to brush your teeth, that will signal your parents that you do not feel well. When they ask about that, be prepared to describe all the symptoms as well as possible. When you pretend to have problems with your stomach, make sure that you wake up in the middle of the night to use the toilet.

After playing your card well in the evening or during the night, continue the act the next morning, with even greater force. Move slowly like you have difficulties doing that, take a lot of time for waking up, and, when you dress up, mess up your clothes, forget to comb your hair and so on. Eat little at breakfast, like you have no appetite, that will make your parents become worried. Sick eyes can be obtained if you rub your eyes a little, to make them look reddish.

There are also other things that you can do, like pretending to have nausea, or diarrhea, or, for girls, that thing that comes every month. Your parents will be very sympathetic towards you. When nothing seems to work, starting to cry will give you that extra edge to make it all look very credible.

You must not seem too enthusiastic when they suggest that you stay at home. Even say it out loud that you have a test and that you cannot miss it. Still, if your parents know that you do not care for tests, do not appeal to this reason, as your behavior will seem suspicious.

After your parents have left, do not just get up and play. Let at least fifteen minutes to pass until you are sure that they left for good as they may want to come back only after ten minutes to see where you are. Also, never prolong the illness to the next day, or you will be taken to a doctor, where they will show that you are perfectly well.
