Thebiggest problem that many clubs have with their newsletters is thatsometimes, these newsletters are not well formatted. A well-formattednewsletter can be read by more and appreciated better, since a goodnewsletter with good formatting could well tell people that the club isreputable and has enough time and dedication to put up a greatnewsletter. In other words, a well-formatted newsletter tells peoplethat you are a great club and that they should read more. Thereare many different formatting software packages out there. You need someone whoknows the aims of your club so that the newsletter is formattedaccording to the themes that your club is associated with. Ingeneral, a good format means a lot of white space: your newsletter willbe thrown away if it looks like a sea of text. People also likepictures, so be generous (but not overwhelming) with pictures. Use areasonable number of fonts. Even if it looks like fun, avoid using morethan one or two fonts, or you end up giving your readers a headache!Also, make font sizes big enough to be read, so that reading yournewsletter is enjoyable, not painful.
