High pH level will create hostile environment for chromosomes y to survive, hence chances of conceiving a baby girl will be high. 2) Diet: Keeping the above mentioned scenario in mind, if parents desire a baby girl then they should include food in their diet which increases their pH level and if they want a baby boy then they should focus on alkaline foods. 3) Schedule of the intercourse: If a couple gets in to an intercourse 3-4 days before the girl ovulates, then there are more chances of conceiving a baby girl as chromosomes y which are responsible for conception of baby boy may not be able to survive until the day of ovulation, when egg is ready to be fertilized.
