How to conquer the fear of taking action

The hesitation to act is part of human history. We have gone from a situation of stagnation to a state of affairs of total chaos. Browsing the history book we come accross the major mistakes that civilizations have often made by not finding the will to take action. Think for example at probably the most dreadful act of mankind that stains our recent past;the Holocaust, initiated by Nazi Germany; which was not less than the act of genocide of approximately six million European Jews during World War II, though much was in the planning phases prior to 1938. A horrible act left unnoticed and unsanctioned by the whole world. World and leaders alike stood aside and let crime happen under their blinded eyes; why? Were six millions and more sacrificed by the lack of will to take action?

In my view, there was unquestionably an element of fear and it was the fear from taking action that ultimately blew way out of proportion that led to a massive world confrontation the world has not seen since. The question we must ask ourselves; is how do we prevent the behaviors of eliminating the fears in our world? What can we do to develop an attitude of not only confidence but also an attitude of passion to spread freedom and democracy? How do we instill leadership skills amongst ourselves to stand up for what we believe, through humility and nobility?

Many leaders think of themselves as warrior lords guiding armies in a righteous war. However, in order to be part of positive change one has to be free from fear; one cannot progress if there is a fear that you are going to fail. When building the right mind state to show your confidence you have to keep up on reaching your goals towards prosperity. There needs to be victories along the way to keep the confidence level high; which then inspires passion, passion to move on. Without the rewards of progressive milestones it will be difficult to stay focus on initiatives to prioritize and it will be difficult to stay healthy mentally and physically. One has to be careful of succumbing to the pits of defeat if the instincts of desire are void; there needs to a trust factor in yourself and those whom you associate with.

It is of utmost importance to remember that the skill of listening to others as well as listening to your very own inner thoughts is a talent that many who aspire to lead lack. The skill to execute will bring about success and success will bring about those who aspire to be part of your umbrella of leadership. To persuade people to join your team you must offer them the trust and respect you expect from them. People are looking to join the team that fosters relationship building and one that promotes modernization. People want to follow a leader that can lead without conflict and that has the influence to use the language that is convincing; one that induces positivity, strength and capable to manifest change with affirmative results

Discarding any signs of fear is the first step toward success and so therefore one must remove any thoughts of failure; overcoming your fear of failure is controlling your thoughts of self doubt. Self doubts about ones very own skills level and or the competence to lead. Use the pessimist to test your own grip on the fear of failure and the optimist to enforce it and fight self doubt. You see leaders are constantly taking on the good fight with those that are jealous with the progress being made and trying to find a way to take up the glory of success without having to endure the hard work that comes with it. You see victorious leaders have also at one time or another faced fear so they know how to combat fear they know that the best way to fight fear or fight those that what to stop progressive positive change will require a communications campaign of thorough tough discussions that will lead to resolutions; lasting resolutions.
