I do not intend on this being a set-by-step guide on how to make money on the internet. Instead I want to get the wheels turning and hopefully give you ideas that will fester into a business model so that you may someday become self employed and no longer have to worry if you will have a job again. I think it was 1997 or 1998 that I got my first taste of the internet. I had joined an MLM program and built a website that helped me attract several hundred people from around the United States. This turned into a net 2400.00 dollars a month for around three and a half years. Once I got everything in place it basically ran on auto pilot. Like most MLM programs they eventually reach their peek and then fizzle out and this program was no exception. What it did for me though was show me that you can make money on the internet. I hope the three ideas I talk about will get you thinking and get you started on your road to financial freedom. 1. MLM business - This is were I first started. It is real work and is not for everyone for sure. I recommend you search on Google for a MLM program. When you find one that interest you make sure you do your due diligence. Pay special attention to any negative feedback that may show up on Google searches. If you see a lot just move on to something else. Also a good MLM program should have lots of products and only require a minimal start up fee. If they tell you that you have to invest a lot then you might want to reconsider. You will have to decide what is a lot, there is no set price. After you sign up you will want to get a websit up to promote your new business. Once that is done it's time to talk to family and friends. I told you it was not going to be easy, if you can't talk to your family and friends about it then quit right now it's not for you. After your family and friends its time to branch out to the public. Each and every person you run into you should give your pitch. To become successful with MLM you need to get a select few really good people below you. They will be your work horse and help you reach your goals. Remember I said this is real work, it's not easy, but by getting just two or three good people below you can mean the difference in thousands of dollars a month. 2. Google Adsense - This one also requires a lot of work online, but has the potential to reward you big time. This is also my current business model and I am just starting to see some returns. First let me save you some money everything you need to learn how to work the adsense program can be found at the Google adsense website. You do not have to buy any of the thousands of fluffed up ebooks or systems out there. They all repeat the same thing or they teach you bad habits that will only get your adsense account banded for life. Basically what you do is build a website around one or two keyword or key word phrases. You want these key words to be high demand key words, that is ones that are searched for thousands of time a month and preferably with out a lot of competition. After your website is completed and indexed in Google, you will then submit your application for Google adsense. Once accepted you will place the code they give you on your website and start showing ads. Your goal is to build lots and lots of traffic to your site. Every time someone visits your site and clicks on one of the ads you make money. This is obviously a quick summary of how it works and you really need to go and educate yourself, but if your willing to devote your free time, you can make big money this way. 3. Google Adwords - This is affiliate marketing. What you do is find a product you want to sell. Next you sign up for that companies affiliate program. They will give you some code usually in the form of a URL. You will then build a website around that product, possibly doing a review or a how too website. You will send people to your website by using Google adwords ads. Hopefully once they click on your ad and land on your website they will like what they see and buy the product through your affiliate link, giving you credit for the purchase. You keep repeating this process and hopefully you grow and grow and grow. This one takes a lot more start up capital and a lot more risk, but the rewards can be almost instant if you do it right and have a little luck. Again study the Google adwords website to see how this all works. Also do a Google search on affiliate marketing, read all the free information out there but avoid buying any of the programs for sale. You will just be throwing money away that you could be using to start your business. I guarantee you anything you read in the programs that are for sale can be found for free.
