In some cases, even a it of bleeding is natural and can come along with these cramps as well. So, a little pain is probably not something to worry about, unless you have dealt with previous problems with pregnancies, such as miscarriages. Pain From the Uterus Stretching Another type of pain that you may go through during your pregnancy is pain from the uterus stretching. Since the fetus is growing quickly, the uterus has to stretch. When it begins to stretch, there are cramping feelings that occur. While not everyone deals with this pain, many women do, especially as the weight of the fetus is on the increase. Pain that Could Be Serious While there are a variety of pains, such as implantation cramping, that can occur that are not really serious, there are some pains that can be serious. Bad pain can occur if you are going through an ectopic pregnancy, which means that your baby has attached itself to the fallopian tube instead of attaching in the uterus. This can be a very serious problem and can take prompt attention from a medical professional. If not treated, the fallopian tube can rupture, so this can be a serious situation. Also, pain from a miscarriage, can be very serious. When to See the Doctor So, when should you see a doctor about the pain you are experiencing?
