Infinity G20 - Luxury for Everyone
|
When the Infinity G20 first came onto the market, it was smaller than later models were. In fact, manufacturers pulled it off of the market in 1996 and kept it off for three years, reintroducing it in 1999 with some significant changes to its design. Not only was it bigger when it was reintroduced, but it also looked much sleeker and less like other standard small sedans. These were good changes that gave sales a boost, but what was just as good was that the car was still good, if not better, at what it was designed to do. Part of the increase in size was more leg room inside, and the Infinity G20's reputation as a great small family sedan was only enhanced by its improved performance. When the Infinity G20 was reintroduced in 1999, it still had the options of a standard manual transmission or an automatic transmission. It seemed that when it was used by parents who were driving children around all the time, the automatic transmission was most popular. With the younger single crowd who bought it, the manual transmission seemed to be more popular. The younger single crowd also tended to opt for the additions that made the G20 look even sportier, such as the rear spoiler and tires that were lower profile. Infiniti made different types of the model to accommodate many different demographics. Of course, with the Infinity G20 there were features that you wouldn't normally see in lower priced smaller sedans. Most of the people who could afford the G20 could afford to buy it with all of the extras, including climate control and all leather upholstery. Though you could find these features in cars that aren't considered luxury models, you usually didn't. When it came to the G20, you saw a family sedan or sportier model that stood up well to the other luxury cars such as Lexus and BMW, and it did so with style. About The Author: |
