Internet Gun For Hire To Earn Quick Cash

Remember that classic 1950's TV western series called ‘have gun…will travel'? Richard Boone as Palladin doing his mercenary best across the plains of the old Wild West. Well if you want to make a fistful of dollars you can become a mercenary on the old World Wide Web. Yes it's a new frontier, wide open for bright people who have PC won't travel and can sell their skills or belongings on the global Internet market. Here are four ideas for becoming an MS mercenary and making a few dollars more online.

Idea no.

1: Look around your home and get into online auctions. EBay has turned the old classified newspaper adverts with a single market area with thousands of customers into thousands of market areas with millions of customers. Take your need for money and combine it with the opportunity to de-junk your life. You really only need one of the 3 toasters you were given when you married last year so get a quote online for postage, take a photo of the thing and upload it to eBay, set a reserve or ‘buy it now' price and receive the cash through your PayPal account in a few days.

Idea no. 2: A great thing about the Internet is that it is getting everybody to read more. I know it does great graphics but mostly it is based on text. Google and all the other search engines take keywords typed into the search box and scours the whole of the web for the exact same string of letters and returns page after page of relevant results. The Internet is text based and who do you think writes all that content? Why it's our old friend Paladin, ‘have Word will type'. News articles, press releases, product descriptions, relationship counseling is in huge demand and website owners are willing to pay for original good English content.

Idea No. 3: Online focus groups are the good the bad and the ugly of the Internet. Marketeers out there are willing to pay for your time and your opinion. They are aiming to garner the opinions of ordinary people everywhere and spend lots of time and money researching their own product or service markets. The rewards of contributing to focus groups can vary from $50 to $500 so well worth looking into for a fistful of dollars.

Idea No. 4: With a high-speed Internet connection and good PC you can offer your skills in the global market place. What skills do you have? Do you speak another language well enough to translate? Do you have administrative experience to be a remote virtual assistant? Are you sure enough of your mother tongue to do proofreading. If you are an IT oriented person, can you do programming or web design. Whatever your specialist talent there is a buyer out there and the Internet has made lucrative work from home possible like never before. A PayPal account allows you to track your money all the way to your home bank account.

Two words of warning before you ride off into the sunset of Internet earnings. Firstly beware of viruses and spyware. Be sure to have your firewall in place and up to date. Secondly beware the scam as well as the spam. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
