Is An Art Deco Mesh Purse For You?
|
The earlier part of this era was a period of upheaval where the women's movement crested and women stepped into roles that were only held by men in the past. Styles exploded and took on a youthful look and feel that had a bit of a jazzy feel. Woman's fashions continued to change throughout the era as hemlines climbed and the waistline disappeared. Gauzy fabrics, beads, and feathers hit the fashion scene and some of the most unique and beautiful fashions evolved. By the later part of the deco scene the dress hems had once again dropped to ankle length and soft chiffons, crepes, and satins were vogue. This was the time of Vionnet and Schiaparelli designs. And this was a period when stars like Katherine Hepburn made it possible for women to wear pants. The purses of this era followed the fashion styles closely. And while feathers and beads were the rave so were mesh purses with their wonderfully intricately detailed designs. Today you can incorporate these great styles into your modern day wardrobe and you can find great pieces to add to your wardrobe just by shopping online. Of course half the fun is finding that perfect piece and when it comes to art deco purses don't be surprised if you find it almost impossible to make a decision. There's just so many great choices it's can be a bit of a challenge. There are plenty of great sites online that offer clothing and accessories form the art deco era so have some fun. And what you don't buy can still give you some great ideas. If your budget will allow you could easily purchase more than one mesh bag. These are just so versatile. In fact you don't even have to have a deco fashion sense to make these work well. Your favorite pair of jeans, your cute summer dress, that wonderful tank and shorts, your wedding dress. It doesn't matter. This is a purse style that can be incorporated into absolutely any fashion style and any outfit. Here are 4 of my favorite picks. 1.
