It's a New Era - The Side Post Umbrella
|
Skin cancer is on the rise and more and more people are taking precautions. More people are seeking out the shade than ever before. Add that to the fact that outdoor living has become big business and suddenly you have manufacturers that are catering to whole different market and thus providing innovative products. So this summer when you grab that cold glass of ice tea and head out onto the deck rather than finding your umbrella staring you in the face from the middle of the table chances are you'll come eye to eye with a beautiful bouquet of cut flowers and the arm for your umbrella will not at all be an issue. Remember conversations around the pole table? As you duck to the right or duck to the left to talk with someone so that the pole isn't directly in your face. Bit of nuisance wasn't it? In fact by the end of the season of dancing around the pole you've probably had almost more than you can take. But now that's not going to be an issue anymore! Now you can enjoy great conversation without doing the pole bob. Now it's as relaxing as entertaining inside your house. Many would go so far as to list the side post umbrella as one of those major inventions kind of like the computer or the digital camera. It's that good. And don't be fooled by it's design. This little gem isn't going to tip over at the first sign of a breeze. First the base provides a nice heavy and sturdy platform. But secondly the innovative wind vent at the top plays an integral role in keeping your umbrella upright. For when the wind can escape it does no damage. Now these aren't quite as cheap as your traditional umbrella which you can buy for as low as $50. You'll certainly have to be prepared to dig much deeper. Of course the benefit is years of enjoyment and an umbrella that really works. Online you'll find the average price runs around $500 and if you shop your local store you'll probably be looking at closer to the $800 mark. Now of course that depends on what size, what style, and the manufacturer. You can also expect these prices to drop over time as more of these side post umbrellas become available. But for now if you want to own one you are going to have to bite the bullet and dig deep. But then again with outdoor living become such an important part of our modern day lifestyle what's a few more hundred dollars to get the perfect side post umbrella?
