Joy, Truth and Love are Spiritual Guidelines

In the game of life you will serve yourself by having some idea of what you want to experience as your travel this adventure called “life on planet earth."

It behooves you even more to have a clear idea about who you are and who you wish to be in order to guide you along the path that you choose. If you don't know where you are going it is hard to get there. But if you have a clear picture of what you want out of life and understand the creative process that can get you there, then you are going to have to put the effort into discerning what is the real thing for you and how best to create your truth.

If you desire that your God source will be your guide and your truth, then the matter of discernment lies in following your highest thought. When you hear many words you must discern which of them is the clearest. When you have mixed feelings you must discern which feeling is the grandest.

We know that thoughts, words and feelings can be manipulated by other sources, so the guiding factors to consider are that your highest thoughts need to be joyful thoughts. That which is joy. The clearest words need to be truthful words. That which is truth. The grandest feeling needs to be a loving feeling. That which is love.

Use these guiding factors in determining the source of your information to help eliminate misinterpretation of what is the real thing to you. Joy, truth, and love are the guides, and they are powerful tools for you to use if you will but incorporate them into your daily life.

Listen to the words, but always be aware. Listen consciously to what you are being told so that you are better able to filter the message and run it past your litmus test of joy, truth and love. Don't just blindly accept the words of another as gospel. You are not serving yourself when you do that. You are being lazy and not looking out for your best interests in your quest to define who you are.

More importantly is to be aware of your own words. It is essential that you prioritize yourself as the first order of business. It is in the constant re-creating of your self that you can best serve the world. You cannot always control the events and circumstances that show up in your life, but you can control how you react to them.

You are in complete control of how you interpret an event and what you choose to be in response to it. It is in these moments of response that you will select from the myriad of thoughts going through your head and you will then choose to speak the words that will translate your thoughts to the world. Thus, you will have completed the second part of the thought, word, and deed creative process.

Make no mistake, the creative process is powerful and ongoing at all times because thoughts constantly run through our heads, and all thought is creative. However, when we select a thought and verbalize it into words we express that thought and create at a much higher level. If we express a thought through words once or a few times in an emotion such as anger (i.e. I wish you were dead) you probably won't manifest that into your reality.

The thought and words are still creative but without the energy needed to manifest. However, if you repeat a thought or words again and again, hundreds or even thousands of times then the power of this constant expression cannot be ignored. The thoughts and the words are building creative power through their constant expression and therefore create reality by the creative force of your persistence.

This works for all thoughts and words. If you constantly express thoughts and words such as “I am wisdom and clarity" it creates just as effectively as if you express thoughts and words such as “I am stupid and unworthy." Once again it is a matter of choice and being conscious enough to monitor the thoughts that serve you best.
