Justice League Action Figure Back Story

As a collector of Justice League Action Figures, I like to understand the back story behind the Characters. Even if Batman and Superman are the best well-known of my Justice League Action Figure collection, there's much more about the Justice League that is less acknowledged.

The 5 superheros who founded the Justice League were Aquaman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Black Canary and Martian Manhunter When each Superhero showed up independently to cope with an urgent situation, the five of them determined to stick as one and construct a new group. Influenced by the Justice Society of America, they decided to dub themselves the Justice League of America and announced their new group in a press conference.

The Justice League decided to think about added recruits, but for the entire first year they operated as only the five of them. After frequent requests to become a member, a hesitant Superman and Batman in the end joined the League on reserve status. The other Justice League members were very happy to have these two on board. Batman is the only member of the Justice League who doesn't have super powers, he's human and relies on his equiptment to fight crime.

The League shortly expanded to include Zatanna, Hawkgirl, Firestorm and Elongated man. The Justice League, also named the Justice League of America or JLA, is a imaginary Super Hero group that were published by DC Comics. First appearing in The Brave and the Bold #28 in 1960, the League originally appeared with a line-up that included Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter. However, the team roster has been rotated all through the years with characters such as Plastic man, Zatanna, Captain Marvel, Black Canary, Hawkman, Atom, Green Arrow and lots of others.

During the time, assorted incarnations or subsections of the league have also operated as Justice League America, Justice League Europe, Justice League International, Justice League Task Force, Justice League Elite, and Extreme Justice. A number of comic book shows featuring the Super Hero Team remained to be usually popular with fans since start and in most of the lineups, its roster includes DC's most well-liked characters.

The League idea has also been tailored into different other entertainment media, including Justice League action figures and the classic Saturday morning Super Friends animated show that was on TV between the years 1973 and 1986, and more lately an animated show Justice League, between 2001 and 2004 and Justice League Unlimited between 2004 and 2006. The action figures are what got me engrossed in the Justice League.

Justice League Unlimited is an American animated TV show that was produced by Warner Bros. Animation and was on the Cartoon Network. Featuring a broad selection of superheroes from the DC Comics universe, and purposely based on the Justice League superhero group. It is a direct sequel to the earlier Justice League animated series. JLU debuted in 2004 and finished in 2006 on Toonami. It was the very last series in the evergreen DC Animated Universe.
