My parents have a Kenmore washer and drier set that's lasted for over twenty-five years with only minor maintenance here and there. But the main thing that impresses me is that just the other day when a valve in the washer broke, they were able to find the exact replacement part online at the Sears website. It was delivered quickly. It's always good to know that a company will be there to provide you with the follow up service and parts that you may require years form now. Particularly with replacement parts, it can be very frustrating to have an appliance for which you can no longer find the parts. In fact, if a manufacturing company is not around to help service their appliances, it's only a matter of time before they become completely inoperable and useless. For larger purchases like gas grills and other appliances, it certainly makes me feel better to purchase from companies that have been around and stand to be around for a while longer. The Kenmore line of gas grills is a good solid line with all of the popular features as well as durability and company reliability to match. You mat not find some of the snazzier, new features on some of the extremely pricey models, but then again the Kenmore product family tends to be more about simple durability. Kenmore gas grills tend to be straight forward in design and materials used to manufacture them. This translates to ease of maintenance and use for the average user. And that can only mean more satisfactory and safe barbequing for the entire family.
