MLM Prospecting - Steps for Success
|
Work on Finding the Right People The first thing that you need to do when you are working on MLM prospecting is to make sure you find the right people. The wrong people will not pan out for you in this business. Finding the right people is definitely an art and it can take some work on your part. There are a variety of people out there today that are looking for what you have to offer, you just have to find them. Finding the right people is going to be the very first step to prospecting. Expose Those People to the Products After you find the right people, the next thing you need to do in MLM prospecting is to expose the people that you find to the products. This doesn't really mean throw them a long sales pitch, but just a quick overview of what you are offering can easily be brought into a simple conversation. Remember, you are just giving them the idea that you have to offer, not all of the information that goes with it. You need to know if they are interested in the idea before you go on to give them more information. Figure Out Who is Really Interested Of course now is the point in MLM prospecting where you really need to figure out who is really interested in the ideas that you are presenting. There are people that are willing to listen and open to what you are saying. On the other hand, there are those who are not interested in listening to what you have to say. When you find those that are not interested, consider asking them for referrals of others, but don't waste your time chasing them down if they are not interested in what you have to offer. Get Good Prospects Involved When you know which prospects are really interested in what you have to offer, the next step of MLM prospecting is to get them involved. Start getting these people into the company and allow the system that you are working with to do the rest. Help them along the way. If they don't want to get involved right now, then follow up with them later. Make sure that you keep in touch so you can get them involved at a better time for their needs. About The Author: |
