• Reaching out to young people - Ask a young student what an engineer does and they are either going to tell you that an engineer drives a train, or they'll simply say that they don't know. At MTC Technologies, they work on teaching young people all about what it means to be an engineer in many different fields. By using such innovative ways of teaching as theater productions and science competitions, MTC hopes to get young people excited about the possibilities when it comes to an engineering career. • Participation with science organizations - When it comes to such things as technology research and engineering, MTC Technologies looks for outside organizations that can help get the word out about these things. One place that they support is Science Learning Centres in the UK; a place that teaches through exhibits and hands on learning about all manner of scientific subjects. Though not all of the things that they teach centers on aerospace science, they get people interested in scientific research in general. • U.S. Programs - MTC Technologies is involved with FIRST, an organization in the United States that helps education everyone, especially young people, about the possibilities created with scientific research. Through mentorship, competitions, and hands-on programs, FIRST gets people involved in many facets of technological research, inspiring many young people in their career choices. MTC Technologies hopes that through supporting scientific programs and through their own educational programs that they will always be able to show how important technological research is. Many of the people who work for MTC are there because of the company's direct involvement in educating the public, and MTC is proud to know that they have had a hand in shaping people's careers.
