Male Enhancement Drugs - Beware the Imposters

One of the greatest discoveries in the last few years has been male enhancement drugs. Where once men had to simply live with the erectile dysfunction they were experiencing for one reason or another, now there is finally a male enhancement drug that can help. This is a giant breakthrough in medicine that has gone a long way to help men and their partners once again have a satisfying sex life. The problem often is, however, that along with the legitimate breakthroughs in male enhancement drugs, there are unscrupulous companies that ride the coattails of this success and make claims that simply aren't true.

The bottom line is that there are no male enhancement drugs that can make the penis longer or thicker. You will see advertisements that claim otherwise. They don't really call these drugs, but rather "natural supplements". The way they market them, however, they want them to sound like the popular erectile dysfunction drugs like Viagra or Levitra. Most men know that the real male enhancement medications don't increase the size of the penis, and they never claimed to. They only work to help men achieve erections, and that is all. Others that advertise they have male enhancement drugs that can help men achieve erections plus get larger penises are lying outright.

There are natural supplements that can possibly help with erectile dysfunction, though they are not male enhancement drugs. They are supplements that contain natural herbs and vitamins that have been known to help with blood flow. When the erectile dysfunction is caused by a circulatory problem, supplements that help with blood circulation can often be a remedy for the problem. Often the problem is more complex than that, though, in which case the supplements will usually not help. For companies to call these male enhancement medications is misleading, then. True male enhancement medications work for the majority of people who take them for erectile dysfunction. Supplements sold with claims that they are as good as male enhancement medications usually work in only a small fraction of cases.

If you are a man who feels that you could benefit from male enhancement drugs, the first thing that you need to do is visit your doctor to see what the underlying problem is. It could be that the condition that is causing your erectile dysfunction can be cleared up rather quickly, and there won't be any reason to take male enhancement medications. The one thing that you don't want to do, especially if you don't know why you're experiencing the erectile dysfunction, is self medicate. Talk to your doctor, and together you can figure out the best plan of action.
