Marriage Counseling and Marriage Problems

Have you tried marriagecounseling yet? If you haven't my advice to you is don't risk your marriage.Marriage problems are the food for marriage counseling but not the solution foryour marital problems. Manypeople who go to marriage counseling love the counselors they see - and thenthey get a divorce. What does that say to you? To me it says that marriagecounselors are really good at creating a connection with their clients (theytake courses on how to do that) but don't know anything about marriage.

There is a Reason Marriage Counseling Doesn't Work

People are triune (threeparts) in nature; we are spiritual (a soul), psychological (a mind) andphysical (a body). You would think that everyone would agree with that butwestern psychology, which is the body of knowledge marriage counselors referto, is atheistic: no God, no soul; nothing! So how can they help anybody whenthey ignore the most essential aspect of those who seek their help; they can't!The fact is we are souls who have minds and bodies; we are essentiallyspiritual beings. Understanding how you are put together is very importantinformation if you need a "repair" or if the two of you need to knowhow to interact. Those who believe mankind is primarily psychological orphysical pretend love is psychological (emotional). It is true most forms ofpassion are emotion, but love is spiritual; man cannot create it; we can't evendefine love, or even describe it very well!

Marriage is a Creation of God, not Man

If you ask a sociologist orpsychologist about the origins of marriage you will hear how it"evolved" from the past practices of human ownership, that in thedark ages men used to own women but for some inexplicable reason the ownershipevolved into a marriage. Reality of what marriage is can be found in scripturesof all religions, which lay down the prescriptions and proscriptions for holymatrimony. Granted, the interpretations of rules conceived by church leaders ofall religions are varied, but the foundational spiritual principles areuniversal. When a man and woman come together in holy matrimony the union issanctified. The union is a spiritual union and so it has to follow thespiritual principles in order for it to function as it is intended. When peoplepervert those spiritual principles or pretend they don't exist the union ofmarriage lacks substance and staying power. Marriage can deliver amazingbenefits that stretch far beyond what human imagination can conceive and thatis what marriage counselors don'tknow. If they did the divorce rate for marriage counselors and otherpsychologists would be far below the average instead of roughly the same aswith other occupational groups.

I have been asked many timesif my own systems work when one of the couple has no desire for the marriage towork. My response is very simple: most people who give up only do so becausethey don't believe there is truly a solution to their marital problems. Mysystem offers a solution that simply works because it is simple. Therefore mostpeople who appear to be utterly hopeless have their hopes revived just byreading some of the lessons I have prepared.
