One of the most important things in a business is naming your business, especially if you want to venture into cleaning business. A good name must be decided depending on which cleaning service that you want to opt to: it may be an office cleaning service, carpet cleaning, upholstery, resident home cleaning, and so on.
Get the usual basics or the requirements of having a business: business permits, capital, bond or insurance for your company, a rented office space with furniture and other equipments or tools added, and man power. Once you have almost everything, you get to the difficult part: naming the company.
Now you may ask why choosing a company name is difficult? Here are some lists that you have to consider about company names:
· It is easy to pronounce?
Your clients will be at loss if they don't know how to say your company name. How will they be able to help you advertise or tell their associates and acquaintances how good your service is if they can't even articulately say it?
· Is it easy to remember?
A name is like an advertisement. How many times do you see an advertisement aired on TV? Numerous times, right? Make sure that a name must be retained by clients and customers easily.
· Is it pleasant to hear to the customers?
There are some company names that is horrible to hear, even in advertisements. People would ask, “How did they come up with such a horrible name? It's not even nice to hear!"
· Is it original?
This is plainly simple. There are some company names that have similar names from product ads and such. They may say it's and say they are totally different from that of a brand, but that doesn't give them excuse for being unoriginality. Avoid being a copy cat and create your own style.
Most company names are taken from the initials of the owner's name. Using initials is good start; however, if you want a name that is less personal, look for something else. Like an adjective or a verb. You can also try brain storming for keywords that describe the nature of your company. When giving names, make sure that it is catchy. Before you use it, confirm if the name is being trademarked by another or not.
Once the company name is settled, then you are almost through. The final touch is to place advertisements on newspapers and yellow pages; or sent fliers to people on the streets. After that, done! Settle a date for your opening of your cleaning business and start taking in clients!
