Statistically speaking, there are about as many single men as single women, so why is it so difficult for a woman to find a man? It should not be that hard, yet it still is.

Manners are another thing that many men do not do so good with when taking part to this type of dating events. Many forgot even that talking with your mouth full is not only impolite, but it may get the other person feeling the need to open their umbrella.


Dancing events and bars for singles seem to be just cut out for single women in search of single men. Of course, if you are the type of woman that spends a lot of time working in front of a computer, then the prospect of getting from one bar to the other is just not so appealing. Online dating sites have the advantage of letting you know a lot about a person that interests you, like if they have a regular job, if they have been married before, if they have any kids, or if they have a criminal record. So, you can have access to all this information and you can establish a date that is not so blind. Consider though that this info does not stand neither for mutual attraction, neither for getting along from the first minute.


You may discover right from the start that some issues cannot be taken lightly, like you having a pet, and him, not wanting to have such a thing in the house.


The truth is that mature dating is not something you get just by snapping your fingers. You may look still young, still attractive, but with no luck in mature dating. Is it really you that should lower the standards? I do not think so. If you have clearly in your mind what you look after, you should keep it that way; there is no point in giving up your principles about finding a man that is dependable, reliable, emotionally stable, just because.


The main issue with men that subscribe for online dating services is that they have no wish to grow up so the idea of a mature relationship just makes them shiver. How do they expect to develop a relationship with a woman in search of a man that can counted on, if they do not put anything on the table?


The truth is that such men are interested in getting involved in temporary affairs, while women seek a man that can turn, at some point, into a husband. Such differences just cannot be ignored.


On the other hand, when you consider mature dating, think before you act. This is just a warning, even though, without trying, there is no gain, whatsoever.
