Men and Earrings: Something You See More and More
|
With there being so many men wearing earrings, there are still some men that refuse to wear them, or even entertain the thought of getting their ears pierced. When men and earrings started to become something that was so popular, you would see most of them wearing one single stud in only one ear. Maybe you would even see a man wearing one single hoop in just one ear as well. At the time, it was thought as taboo for a man to wear earrings in both ears, or even in their right ear alone. Many women think that men and earrings is a very sexy look. You will even now find men that have more holes in their ears than some women as well. There are even younger boys that have their ears pierced, and mother's of young baby boys that will take them to get their ears pierced as well. Most of the men with earrings that you see got their ears pierced in their adult years. However, some mother's are taking it upon themselves to have their baby boy's ears pierced, thinking he will be ok with this once he grows up, and will want to wear earrings. A lot of people do not agree with this, and think that this should be left up to that person once they are of age to get their own ears pierced. There really is no difference however, in getting your baby's ear pierced, wether you have a boy or a girl. The decision should be left up to them when they are older to decide for themselves if pierced ears is something that they want. Rather than the mother deciding that they will grow up and want to be a man with earrings or even a girl with pierced ears. However, if you like the look of men and earrings, you will find that they are not hard to find. Maybe your spouse or significant other would be willing to get their ears pierced for you, and you can then help them choose the earrings that you think they would like to wear. You can help them decide if hoops or studs would be better for them. Just be sure that you teach your man with earrings how to take care of them, and that they should not change them for six months after getting their ears pierced.
