This bonsai tree is not actually a single tree, but many separates ones that braid their trunk together. The ideal height for a money plant tree is about 10-18 inches, while the full grown specimen can become about 7 feet tall. Its leaves are very beautiful, large, of a bright green color and they form a tuft at the tip of each stem. Its particular meanings refer to good luck. A money plant tree is a great gift for someone and it is considered that its many leaves are a great feature. The number of the leaves on each stem is also a sign of good luck. As is the case with the four leave clover, the rarest number of leaves on a stem of a braided bonsai tree is seven. There are usually five or six leaves on each stem, so a tree with seven leaves on a stem is considered a great sign of good fortune for the owner. Another meaning of the bonsai money plant tree is that it has an important role in maintaining the feng shui. When placed in a room, according to those believing in the feng shui theory, this plant is responsible for creating positive energy. Also, it is recommended to place the tree in your office or in the room that serves a financial purpose in your house. The leaves have their own meaning. The more they are, the more good luck and prosperity they bring. The money plant tree can be successfully maintained indoors. A great fact is that this tree does not need a lot of care from your part and even with low light and little water, it can still live for many years. The only thing the bonsai needs is a little soil to cover the roots. If you want to take good care of your bonsai, let it see the sun for a little while and give it water every week. By no means, you should cover it in water. This is a real risk for your plant as it might, as well, kill it. Indeed, the soil that cover the roots must be moist but this is no reason for over watering. Watch closely to see that the plant roots do not stand in water, but in an enough moist soil. This plant is great if you just discovered your passion for bonsai and you want one to care of. This is not only about the good luck that it is said it brings but also about the fact that you do not need a lot of training to maintain it healthy. If you see that some leaves are damaged, do not get worried. These leaves will fall in time and they will be replaced by others, greener and healthier.
