Motorcycle Rain Gear
|
Raingear is usually made from nylon and it is 100% waterproof. The exterior is waterproof and the interior is lined to keep you warm. Some liners are removable making the jacket even more flexible. You should have plenty of reflective markings on the jacket and pants because rain means dreary and dull skies and you will be harder to spot. Do your part to stand out. Black is the worst color. Olive, gray, and neutral colors are not great either. Instead choose bright yellow or white. Fluorescent colors are great during the day and reflective tape should be on any jacket you wear. You'll find dual storm pockets and an adjustable belt very handy and the zipper will have a flap that ensures there is no leakage. And when the hood isn't being used you can tuck it away into the collar. More good news - the days when your rain gear is so plain and even ugly - they are gone.
