Each flower represents one symbol; if you want to know more on this subject, just read further. Flowers have represented symbols since early times, when they were offered as gifts instead of declarations. Some may stand for a declaration of love, some for a declaration of faith, some for a declaration of friendship. Flower language was used extensively during the Victorian period, in which the direct expression of emotions was seen as primitive by the society. In order to express their feelings, people that lived back then elaborated an entire dictionary of flowers, through which they told entire poems for the person they loved. Now, the times have changed and still, feelings can be shown through flowers. It is just a fun way to do it! Here is a list with all the flowers and what they mean when they are offered as a gift.
