Notary Forms What You May Need
|
Of course, the first of the notary forms that you will start out with will be the notary public application form. Although this form may vary slightly from state to state, generally it is pretty standard. On this form you will put the normal things, such as your name, address, date of birth, etc, and then you will sign it, mostly likely giving your permission for a background and criminal check. Once you get the preliminary application underway and either are a notary or are on your way to becoming one, there are other notary forms that you may want to be aware of. If you will be changing your name for any reason, then you need to fill out a new form for such. If you change your name you cannot do business as a notary public under your old name. If your old name is the one on your notary public certificate then you need to fill out a notary name change form. Even a change of address must usually be noted by filling out a form, but this is a relatively easy process, and doesnt take much effort. There are notary forms for change of name and address, or separate forms for changing either one. There are other important forms that you need to be aware of, whether or not you may ever use them during your time as a notary public. If your certificate is expiring soon then of course you want to fill out a new notary public form, usually a four year form. Fortunately, it is basically the same form as the one that you use to apply to be a notary public in the first place. One thing that you want to remember is that notary forms are government forms, and therefore you always want to make sure that they are official. Beware of people selling these forms over the Internet that you can download and print off of your computer they may just take your money and give you counterfeit forms. Be sure to get your notary forms from a reputable agency. About The Author: Balva Rudick is the Editor and Publisher of Article Click.
