Odoban - A Great Tool in the Fight against Odor

As part of the house cleaning process, many of us like to use odor eliminators such as Febreze. A lot of people don't know about a product called Odoban, which is an effective odor eliminator that is extremely cost effective. Though there is no doubt that Febreze works well, that doesn't mean that it is the only odor eliminating product on the market. Even if you have been using Febreze for a long time and are satisfied with it, you might want to consider taking a serious look at Odoban. It could very well be that you will decide that in many categories it is a better product to use.

People buy Febreze mostly because they want to eliminate the odors in fabric; usually furniture upholstery, although this also includes shoes and clothing. Many of these people don't realize that Odoban works well on fabric as well. Febreze can be found at many different types of stores such as grocery stores and department stores. The cost for Febreze can vary, but the average cost is about six dollars for the large bottle. Odoban, though not as easy to find as Febreze, costs about ten dollars for one gallon of concentrate. A small amount of the concentrate is mixed with water to make a quart of usable solution. It is easy to see how this product can be much more cost effective than Febreze.

Odoban works the same way as Febreze. A solution made of a mixture of the concentrate and water is sprayed directly onto fabric, and as it dries it eliminates odors on the fabric such as smoke and pet odors. Though for easy application you will need to buy a spray bottle that will cost you less than five dollars, it is an insignificant price compared to how much you save. This product can also be used in the laundry to help deodorize, as well as on hard surfaces such as tables and countertops. It kills most viruses and bacteria, making it a great disinfectant.

Febreze comes in a few different scents, and Odoban does not. It only comes in a eucalyptus scent, which can be a problem if you don't like that smell. An upside to this, however, is that the eucalyptus scent will fade as the product dries, but the odors that you are trying to eliminate will still be gone. It is also harder to find in stores, and the best place to find it is at one of those warehouse stores that charge a yearly fee for membership. Even so, the money you will save buying this product will still be significant, and if you don't want to belong to a warehouse store you can always go as a guest with someone who does belong.
