Here are some tips on how to perform better in your paintball games.

Keep the weight of your equipment as low as possible. Do not use heavy and uncomfortable equipment as it will slower your movements down and your reactions in the field.

Practice your aiming position by putting your battle equipment on and, using a laser pen, adjust your aim before trying to target without any help. Try to have fast precise movements rising your laser to the target with speed and aiming as accurate as possible.

When using a paintball gun, the rate of fire is one of the things that you may want to improve. Start making exercises to increase your trigger pulling speed and strength. Use two fingers and pull the fingers downwards while pressing the trigger in. This gives you a faster movement and it allows a better fire rate that can cover a larger area, perfect for areas of effective fire bursts.

Try holding a steady aim while you run using a laser pointer when practicing. Run along a wall and aim the laser at a line keeping it as close to the line as possible. It may take a little time but it will give you a far better aim when running.

When attacking a man hole be sure that you are in the clear and there are no other threats around. Then fire upon the target, forcing them to respond and making them empty their paint ammo. Run rapidly towards them firing on the move, until you get close and manage a clear hit. This is call bunkering and you can do it alone, or using the teammates to cover you and suppress the target while you approach.

To defend from bunkering, learn to leave your cover, fire at the bunker and get back as fast as possible. Practice using a mirror or a cover. Rise from behind the cover and fire at your image in the mirror as quickly and precise as possible.

Always keep more paint pods next to you. When you reload let your teammates know so they can cover your position. Open the hopper, take a pod and start pouring paint into the gun. Throw the empty pod and resume firing. Use "cover me" instead of "reloading" when announcing your team about the operation, to keep the opposite team unaware of your intentions.

For the speedball there are three position that you can use. The front position is for the paintballer that signals the movements from the windows and bunker doors. The middle position is used to keep an eye on front and back, and those using it need to have a great snapshooting ability. The back position will help the front man get his openings. Practice all these positions with your teammates before until you get them right.

Always make a plan before getting into a combat, try to involve all the team members and keep a good communication line. Teamwork is most of the time more important that personal skills.
