Whether you are stocking a commercial bar or your personal bar there is something about engraved beer mugs that just adds life to the party. And isn't that what it's all about? A good time?

Yes one can drink responsibly and still have a great time whether at a home get together or at the bar. And some of that fun can be found in checking out all the very cool beer mugs that have been engraved.

Beer companies like Pilsner, Labatt's, Canadian, and Kokanee have been etching their logo and product name onto beer glasses for many years. Both mugs and pilsner style glasses wear the badge of honor.

But these days there's a whole different type of etching going on. Fun slogans, smart phrases, and funny comments can be found on all kinds of beer mugs. And what the heck isn't a good laugh part of your fun?

These etchings will often be found on quality Libbey glass mugs. Libbey has been providing glassware for a very long time and it's a quality that's come to be relied on. You want quality glass which is nice and clear so that the engraving stands up better.

Glass that is nice and thick frosts up much better. You can simply stick them in the freezer for a short period of time and frost that glass up nicely.

16 ounces is the standard size for glass mugs but there are other sizes. No matter what size of mug you invest in with the engraving will stand out nicely. N

Don't forget that beer mugs are great for serving other beverages too. There's nothing like a nice iced glass of root beer or ice tea in a beer mug.

You can purchase engraved mugs through a local supplier or you can purchase them online. There are many sites offering some great prices on these glasses.

Another option that you have is to order your mugs plain and then have a local engraver complete them for you,. What's important is that you have confidence in whoever is going to do your engraving.

It takes some skill to get this process right and since you want your mugs to look fantastic you will want to make sure you are going to get quality.

Isn't it time so spruce up your bar with engraved beer mugs? So what will your mugs say?
