Poogle



The Poogle is quite an interesting dog, a mix breed of a Beagle and a Poodle. They are classified as a medium sized dog but it will depend on the size of the parents. When miniature Poodles are bred the overall size will be much smaller. The characteristics can vary significantly even within the same litter. This is because the differences in the hair of the Beagles and the Poodles and their genetic combinations.

The coloring of a Poogle can be from white to dark brown or a light black. Many of these puppies have a variety of colors on them. You will have to look at the puppies to get an idea of what you are going to have with a full grown Poogle. Be prepared for color change to occur though as they get older. Don't pick one just based on the current coloring though or you could end up quite disappointed later on.

When you are shopping for a Poogle you want to make sure that only purebred Beagles and Poodles are used to create the offspring. Some of the lower quality breeders aren't doing so which can compromise the overall quality of what you will get. You don't want to think you are paying for a Poogle when you are getting a combination of other breeds within your puppy as well.

The quality breeders though want the legacy of the Poogle to continue so they make sure they are using healthy purebreds for the offspring. They have no problems showing you the parents as well as presenting their registration papers. You should never buy a Poogle without verifying what you are getting. The buyer should always beware with such forms of purchases because not everyone out there is honest about what they sale.

There is plenty of money to be made by the sale of Poogles. Many breeders charge from $500 to $1,000 for them. Those that are a mix of a purebred miniature Poodle can be much more than that. You do need to be aware of the genetic health concerns with miniature Poodles though. When you buy a Poogle with one of them as the parent your chances of high veterinarian bills increases.

Some common health concerns in the Poodle include epilepsy and various types of skin infections. If you are going to own such a pet you need to make sure you are dedicated to getting the best care for it. Preventative measures can help ensure your Poogle lives a long and healthy life.
