With more than 5,000 beaches available, Mexico is one beach destination that cannot be overlooked. Tourists from all over the world flock to Mexico to relax on the warm white sand beaches and swim in the warm crystal blue waters of the Gulf and the Caribbean side of Mexico. Cancun, Acapulco, Los Cabos, Mazatlan and the Riviera Maya are just a few of the Mexico locations that attract so many tourists. The warm serene water lapping gently at the coast almost beckons you to enter the water from the coast. Salt Pond Beach Park in Kauai is ideal for families looking to enjoy a beach vacation. The water is calm and the beach features a flat terrain that is ideal for games and sports. Additionally, this beach offers picnic pavilions for families who wish to enjoy their lunch by the water. Perhaps one of Hawaii's most famous beaches is Kaanapali Beach in West Maui. This beach is nearly three miles long and it is the place to go if you are interested in enjoying some water activities. Snorkeling, windsurfing, parasailing and jet skiing are just a few of the activities that you can enjoy on this beach. The appeal of Bora Bora as a vacation destination is the relative isolation that the island offers. Matira Beach on the Southern tip of the island is the most spectacular beach that Bora Bora has to offer. Add in the panoramic views of the surrounding mountain peaks and Matira Beach is an absolute paradise. Matira Beach is the jewel of Bora Bora and other island beaches pale in comparison. This is not a problem though because the surrounding motus offer stunning beaches as well as the opportunity to enjoy some time in the water. The lagoon of Bora Bora is idea of snorkeling and sightings of majestic manta rays are very common. With so many luxurious options choosing a location for your beach vacation could be a difficult decision. While it may be hard to choose just one location, the beauty of it is that you can't go wrong with any of the locations listed in this article.
