Powis Parker Fastback P31 PowisPrinter Keyboard Error Messages

One of the great things about the FastbackPowisPrinter is that it has an LCD display on the keyboard includedwith the printer. This LCD allows you to choose all sorts of optionsand makes the printer capable of producing printed titles without theneed for a computer.

However, the LCD also serves as a messageboard that tells operators when there are problems with the printer. This article will list the different Error messages that are commonlydisplayed on the PowisPrinter LCD and will provide you with a quickexplanation of their meaning.

Error #1: Please Remove Strip From Feed EntryThis error is usually caused by a chute jam. Your strip may have beenloaded incorrectly or might have become skewed as it entered the feedchute. Remove your strip, check the chute and try again.

Error #2: Strip Loading Error - Please Remove the Strip and Try AgainThis error has the same meaning as error #1. Remove the strip, checkthe feed chute for a potential jam and try feeding the strip again.
