I believe that there is a very thin line between this life and the afterlife and that in the dream state we can astral travel to different dimensions. I describe encounters with spirits on the other side as the experience of meeting on a bridge that neither side can cross. A sense of communion can take place but then each has to go back to their respective dimension.
