Purse Blanks Continued...

I put three blooms from a rose called the Orange Floorshow on one of my purse blanks. The orange was so vivid. The flower that I photographed had such dark green leaves that were very pretty, so I included the leaves of the rose in this design.

Aunt Honey was the rose that I fell in love with. The bloom was five inches and it was a wonderful shade of pink. I bought one of these roses to take home and grow. It represented so nicely on the purse blanks.

I've always been amazed at how many different kinds of red roses are grown. My favorite red rose is a climber called Blaze. The blooms are about three inches and grow in clusters. I used a close up of one of the clusters on for the purse blanks craft project.

Purple roses mean "I will always love you". They are one of the nicest roses to receive. I took some really good photos of a rose called Love Potion. It is too bad that my purse blanks aren't scented. This rose has a very strong aroma of raspberries.

The purse blanks that came out the best used lots of different colors. The Gemini rose was not one of my favorites, but it looks great on the purse blanks.

The Gemini rose is cream and coral. I put one bloom on a long stem as the design for the purse blanks craft project. I only included three leaves on the design.

I was told that yellow roses represent friendship. While I was on my photo journey for my purse blanks craft project, I purchased a Lord Mountbatten for my best friend. It was really well received.

The Lord Mountbatten has large, fragrant fully double, cupped blooms of primrose yellow. At times the roses are delicately edged with pink. They have reflexed petals produced in clusters. This rose design was also used for my purse blanks craft project.

Peach roses signify anticipation, sincere appreciation and optimism for the future. I bought a rose called Party Girl for my cousin that was getting married. I wanted to convey my optimism for her future. She was the biggest supporter of my purse blanks craft project.

I was unsatisfied with the design for Party Girl. I had numerous problems with the stitching on my purse blanks. I talked with my cousin and she was a little let down that her rose was not going to be represented in the project.

I invited my cousin over and she went through all of the rose photos that I had taken. She chose a rose called Sweet Dream to be her special design. I stitched the Sweet Dream design onto one of my purse blanks and was completely satisfied. It looked as beautiful as my cousin.
