The Purse Pal Marine Life Fund distributes funds raised from Purse Pal sales to various environmental organizations. All of the $5 contribution made on your behalf for every Sea Turtle Purse Pal sold on their website goes to The Caribbean Conservation Corporation and its Sea Turtle Survival League. Caribbean Conservation Corporation is based in Florida. It is the oldest sea turtle research and conservation organization. It was not hard to figure out why the sea turtle design was used by Purse Pal to raise money for the Carribbean Conservation Corporation. Purse Pal is glad that its support will help the organization maintain its mission to ensure long term survival of the sea turtle. The money they donate helps by funding research, education, advocacy and protection efforts. Purse Pal has a seahorse designed purse hanger. They heard about an organization called Project Seahorse. Their vision is a world in which marine ecosystems are healthy and well-managed. Project Seahorse will use funds from Purse Pal to fund a research project that studies the biology and population dynamics of seahorses. They will also study the ecological effects of fishing practices and marine protected areas. I was told that the best selling charitable Purse Pal was the paw print designed one. The North Shore Animal League America has the world's largest no-kill pet rescue and adoption organization. They have been helping homeless pets for over sixty years. Part of the Purse Pal donation helps to make disaster relief units. The North Shore Animal League was sent to the gulf coast after the 2005 hurricanes. They were able to help pets and owners reunite.
