Restonic Mattress Continued...

We do have hunters that stay at our hotel during various hunting seasons. I have a wildlife themed room that has brown drapes and tan colored walls. Each of the wildlife themed rooms has rustic furniture and headboard. All of these rooms have restonic mattresses. Most of the wildlife rooms have two full size beds.

I did create one room, specifically for our owner's daughter. She requested that I create a plan that we could use in ten rooms. She thought that having a teenage girl design would draw some extra business. I was surprised at how much fun designing this room was.

The teenage girl room has a yellow comforter with retro looking flowers all over it. The flowers are pink, blue and green. We decided on one full size restonic mattress for this room. I found drapes for the room that matched the comforter. I was also able to find a clock for the room in the shape of a retro flower.

We have had a trend in the last several years at our hotel of increasing holiday business. I'm not sure what is causing more people to stay over the Christmas holidays, but it gave me an idea. I created a two different holiday designs for our hotel.

The first holiday design is for Hanukkah and is very simple and classic. I have purchased solid blue drapes and comforters. The sheets are white and fitted to cover the restonic mattress. Each room is given a menorah. Guests are asked when reserving a room for the holidays if they would like a holiday themed room and which holiday they would prefer.

The second holiday design is for Christmas. I have purchased red and green quilts for the Christmas theme. The art on the wall is a large framed photo of the tree at Rockefeller Center. I also have white twinkling lights installed over the windows. The sheets on the restonic mattress are red cotton.

The only other holiday that we will decorate rooms for is the Fourth of July. Our town has a huge celebration for this holiday. The Fourth of July celebration is actually one of the biggest tourism draws in this area. I have purchased enough dcor for this holiday theme that we are able to transform half of the rooms in our hotel.

The Independence Day theme starts with drapes that are blue with white stars. The restonic mattress is covered with red and white striped sheets that were special ordered for our hotel. The comforter is blue with white stars and the pillows are just solid blue. We do not change the paint in the rooms for this theme.

The last theme and the theme most used at our hotel is the nautical theme. Each nautical themed room has a framed print of a lighthouse. The beds all have a restonic mattress and a comforter with a sailboat on it.
