Scrapbooking Adhesive Options

Adhesives are necessary if you want to be successful in scrapbooking, that is common knowledge. However, with all the countless choices, choosing the right adhesive is a challenge. An excellent option are the scrapbooking adhesives made by Tombow Mono. Tombow Mono is a hobby and office supply manufacturer and they have four different adhesive options for use in your scrapbook.

Tombow Mono adhesives are first-rate choices for you to use in your scrapbooks. All of their adhesives are acid-free and they dispense easily and smoothly. The tips are specially designed to cut off the adhesive cleanly when you are done applying. The glue is expelled in nice strips onto the paper or photo, providing you excellent control, guaranteeing that the glue is placed precisely where you need it. Tombow Mono designed their dispensers to be easy to hold and use. Plus, there are no strips of paper to remove from the back of the adhesive.

Tombow Mono adhesives are sold in two styles: refillable and non-refillable. The non-refillable adhesives are a little less expensive because the dispensers have fewer details. However, in the end non-refillable Tombow Mono dispensers wind up costing you more because you must to buy a new dispenser each time you finish the one you have. The refillable dispenser will cost you a little bit more at first, but since everything you do on your scrapbook page requires some form of adhesive, being able to refill the dispenser will save you cash in the end.

On top of the two types of dispensers, Tombow Mono provides two adhesives to choose from: permanent and removable. You will want to have one of each type because there are times when you need a permanent adhesive and times when a removable one comes in very handy. If you are a scrapbooker who continues rearranging your photos and memorabilia until you have it just right, the removable adhesive is a necessity! It keeps your project in place, but will lift off cleanly without leaving any tacky glue or ripped paper behind should you decide to change the position of one of the items on the page.

The permanent adhesive is just right for projects you won't ever want to move. Furthurmore, the permanent adhesive works well for heavier papers that need a lot more stability. Since the adhesives serve differing purposes, it is helpful to have one of each on hand. This versatility is part of what makes this adhesive supplier so popular with todays scrapbooker. Consider them for your adhesive needs!
