Sea Crib Bedding - Four Themes To Choose From
|
Your first sea crib bedding option is a water theme set. You can use a comforter that is different shades of blue, a combination of blues and greens, that offers a wave patter, or that has a water print on it. If you are looking for a bedding set that will fit a standard crib mattress, then you may need to limit your search to solid colored lighter shades of blue. After selecting your bedding set you can then accent the bedding with stuffed plush sea animals, accent colors of green and white, as well as add sea themed accessories like sea shells, colored glass buoys, and framed posters of the water. The second sea crib bedding option that you can utilize is an island theme bedding set. This set can either be cartoon-like in nature or it can be photo-realistic. Your pre-made options will vary by what is available in your market. If you can't find an island themed comforter set that will fit a crib mattress you may need to explore your local fabric store for island themed fabrics and make your own bedding set. The third sea crib bedding option that you can utilize is a sea creature theme. This option will probably give you the most items to choose from. You can use bedding that features dolphins, whales, seals, turtles, sharks, star fish, and fish. Or you can use a bedding set that features a collage of many different types of sea creatures. You should be able to find crib bedding sets with sea creatures on it at your local department store. You may also be able to find this type of bedding set at a wildlife store or in a mail order catalogue. The final sea crib bedding option is to find a bedding set that features mythical sea icons. For example you can use bedding that features mermaids, sea nymphs, Poseidon, etc. You should be able to find mythical bedding sets in department stores, at the Disney Store, at cartoon theme stores, and through mail order catalogues. When you are looking for a bedding set to buy make sure that you keep your baby in mind. Look for fabrics that are soft but durable, that can be washed without shrinking too much, and that are made from cotton or a cotton blend. Try to avoid bedding sets that contain glow in the dark paint features, lights, tassels, buttons, or other items that can fall off the blanket and choke your baby. If you aren't sure if a blanket is safe for a baby to use ask the sales clerk or look for something else. About The Author: Jesse Rosato is the Editor and Publisher of Article Click.
