Secrets of a Mystery Shopping Network

They are a discreet group of people who take up jobs that offer them a unique lifestyle. Apart from working part time or full time, surveying stores, movie halls, hotels and restaurants and getting paid for it, they also receive free gifts. The term free gifts would, perhaps, be a misnomer. It would be better to say that they are paid cash to purchase goods from the stores they survey. Sometimes these free gifts come in the form of tickets to movie plazas, or money to dine out at restaurants or stay in hotels. These people sometimes work as individuals for a store. At other times they join an agency, better known as the mystery shopper network which then out sources them to stores etc.

There are no bindings on joining the mystery shopper network apart from the rule that the persons should be above 18 years of age. Country, region, sex and religion play no discriminatory part for this group. The minimum age is the only criteria for people who wish to enroll themselves in this fascinating career where they are paid a monthly stipend and on top of that receive money to purchase goods. Another benefit that one gets by joining this group is that it enhances their income. If they are already working somewhere else with a normal job, they can pursue this career as a part time one. Housewives are the ones who benefit the most from this type of work, since they can undertake this job in their spare time and at the same time generate an additional income for the household.

Joining the mystery shopper network does not force them to work at a fixed time. There are many types of undercover jobs and they can select the job whose timings suits them best. It is not surprising that lots of people have started pursuing this career and are using it to generate additional income. The free goods that they bring home are an additional bonus. Finding such a job is no bid deal either. Just a brief search on the net will bring up many hits. There are countless organizations waiting to hire new people and they start offering assignments to a newcomer within a short time of their joining. Most of the mystery shopper network also provides comprehensive training which makes a newcomer an expert within a short span of time.

The stipend that the members of the mystery shopper network receive depends totally on the type of jobs they are assigned. However people should be careful and read the fine print on the contract of the employer before signing on the dotted line. While some of them pay a good stipend, they do not give extra cash for purchasing the free goods. Then there are others who pay no stipend at all and reimburse the member by allowing them to keep the products they are evaluating. As a rule of the thumb the rates generally vary from 20 to 50 dollars per job and depend on the complexity and urgency of the same, not a bad sum at all, considering that it is a part time job. Overall these organizations do offer a decent deal and that is why one can see them expanding with more and more people joining them every day.
