Shag carpets installed wall-to-wall usually are chosen as neutral colors. When choosing a rug to offset a certain area people choose many different styles and colors to coordinate with the walls, accessories, furniture, etc. These rugs are durable and are versatile in many ways. You can change a rug to match the season or to the mood, you are in. When moving just roll it up and take with you there is not leaving behind that beautiful rug. Use shag rugs to compliment any furnishings you already have by putting it to one side for an extra setting area. Use shag rugs for a focal point when someone is walking into the room and you can use small ones for the heavy traffic areas to protect you carpet or the hard wood floors. Shag area rugs can sane energy by proving warmth to the center of the room for relaxation, comfort, and the children to play on even. These area rugs will save the carpet under it making it last longer and have protection from traffic. There are many ways to use shag carpet or rugs in every room of your home. You can even hang an area on the wall to use a decorative trimming to your room. When purchase a shag rug and putting into an empty room it will make it a lot easier to pick what you like from the many different styles and colors. You will find these rugs and carpets to be in a multi colors as well as plain. The different textures are from the different yarns and fiber that are mixed through out the pattern of colors. Buying you carpet or rug together, you can pick a color from the carpet and go from there using it as the main color for the walls and furnishings. Adding a shag rug or replacing the old carpet it can be done easily. Get shag with the color you already have in it. Coordination can be done with an already furnished room by choosing one that contains the colors you already have in your room. Remember when buying your new carpet or area rug that light and neutral colors will make your room looks larger. When using warm and dark colors it will make the room cozier and bring out the romance at the same time by setting up some candles through out the room to match some of the colors containing your favorite smell. Exotic colors are nice, but the carpets are better installed in bedrooms. Bathrooms work also, yet you may not want to install exotic colors and patterns in a master bath. Shag rugs were in the high spot back in the 70s and have made a big come back in the 2000's. The shag is longer and much more variety of colors and styles. There are some very long and thick in bright bold colors to add to any room of your choice. Enjoy your new look and have fun. Shag rugs are easy to keep clean by just vacuuming.
