Shelf Bras - Functional and Super Sexy

Bras were originally made for one reason, and that was to hold women's breasts in and up. Though this is still their main function, bras have become much more than just functional undergarments - they are an exciting part of a sexy ensemble.

Shelf bras do hold women's breasts up, but in a way that is different from most other kinds of bras. There is basically no front to the shelf type bra. They have the usually wide strap that goes underneath the breasts, and shoulder straps that come up from the lower strap, and then there are cups that hold the bottom of the breasts. What makes shelf bras different is that they have no front, so the nipples and the tops of the breast are completely uncovered.

When you hear what a shelf type bra is like, you may automatically think that they are not supportive. This isn't true. Though shelf bras don't cover the nipples or tops of the breasts, they support them from below over well. This helps the breasts maintain a good shape under the garments that go over them.

Shelf bras make the woman who is wearing them feel sexy. Even if nobody else knows that she is wearing this type of bra, 'she' knows, and that can make a huge difference in how she feels all day long. A lot of women will tell you that wearing sexy underwear underneath their clothes, whether they are at work or out on the town, can be a psychological boost that comes through in your attitude and the way you carry yourself. Shelf bras aren't blatantly apparent when you wear them, and the subtlety of that makes it even better.

Shelf bras can be a part of a very sexy outfit that you can wear to spice up your love life. A pair of sexy panties, a garter belt, stockings and a lacey shelf type bra can be just the thing to catch and hold his attention - and give you a night of passionate romance. Try wearing your shelf bra underneath an oversized men's white dress shirt, with a skimpy pair of panties and nothing else. You can bet he'll sit up and take notice, and be delighted that you are dressing so sexy to please him.

The shelf kind of bra should be a part of every woman's wardrobe. Functional yet fun and sexy, they can be just what you need sometimes to add that little kick to your day.
