Due to the thick coats they offer, you may find a Siberian Husky dog has a hard time in locations that get very hot. Try to keep them in an area with plenty of shade, even a fan that can circulate air outdoors for them can be helpful in the summertime. They can be destructive out of curiosity or boredom so make sure you don't keep anything they can get into around them. A full grown Siberian Husky dog will weigh about 50 pounds, with most of it being muscle. They don't each as much as most other large dogs so don't be alarmed that they don't consume as much food as you might think that they would.
