Sid Roth Welcomes Steve Foss
|
It started a search for him in which he literally reached into the invisible world and obtained paranormal data, wisdom that's going to change your life forever. STEVE : fifteen years old and got heavier and heaver into drugs, using many drugs and heavy, heavy drinking, and literally my life was curving beyond control. SID : So you were on the edge of a frightened breakdown. SID : And somebody invites you to what you believe is a dance club. All they told me, they revealed it was thought of as having a live band and they danced. So I showed up in my dancing garments and everything, and I'm getting to this school school and slanted lecture hall, and they have got a band, but there's no dance floor. And I thought, well where do they dance? And the music started playing, and they started dancing everywhere. I was raised in the Catholic Church and I'd never seen anything like that before. And then they were given to the slow songs, and the person who brought to me, he got down on his knees and he began to lift hands, and he started to weep before the presence of Almighty God. I literally was freaked out and I claimed,'Lord get me out of here.'. They stuck me in the middle and they put gigantic people on either end of the row so I couldn't get out. And so then, the pastor started evangelizing, and he started referencing scriptures one word after another, one scripture after another, and it was hitting me in my spirit. He got to the end, and he claimed,'If you want to give your life to Jesus raise your hand.' There's 300 scholars in the room, and about 4 raised their hand. And the first guy that went forward he was what we call a nerd, you know. And he had the damaged glasses and pimples everywhere, and he just looked liked, you know. And when he went down there, I could understand, my thinking was I am able to realize why he wants God. The 4th guy that went down was one of the soccer players, good-looking guy, perfect body, dressed like he had money. So I presumed he has cash, he has talent he has got the looks, he has the girls glaringly. STEVE : No What does he need God for? I mean, the nerd, I understand. You know, who's gonna love him? But what's this fellow need God for? And they went down forward and the priest had them all pray a prayer giving their life to Jesus. He went and prayed for the nerd guy first, and he softened to the ground. The dude passed out.' He prayed for the successive two people. About Sid Roth Sid Roth interviews Steve Foss. I'm thinking there's no way this bloke is going to fall down. When he starts to wish for him, he does not fall down. Blokes like this don't cry about God in front of three hundred of their fellow scholars. And I assumed man, man, this has got to be real. As quick as I did that, my heart started to race. Folks related, what's happened to you? I said,'I got mugged by the Holy Ghost.' And I literally felt a particularly still small voice exclaiming, murmuring,'Give your life to Jesus.' And I heard another voice howling in this side of my, asserting,'No. For 40 minutes, I fought as they continued to hope for people. And then ultimately, I bowed my head and shut my eyes and said,'God, if this is actually you, if this isn't fake or fake, if this is truly you, have that bible basher call me out of your audience.' Sid, within half a minute, 300 students, that preacher looked right into me. He looked me right in the eye and he announced,'Brother, the Lord wants you down here.'. . About The Author: Rick Green and David Barton explain that Many major internet sites and encyclopedias identify the 4th of July as “America’s largest religious holiday,” and the compendium outlines “secular” as “pertaining to things that aren’t regarded as non secular or sacred.” the events leading in to America’s birthday were anything except temporal. As George Washington recognized, “The hand of Providence has been so conspicuous in all this that he has got to be worse than an infidel that lacks religion, and more than evil, which has not gratitude enough to recognize his obligations.” And John Adams endorsed : “The general elements that the fathers achieved autonomy were the general elements of Christianity.” |
