While posting a classified ad for free or for a price, you wish your phone start ringing with prospective customers making excellent offers. While a few people adopt the right techniques to write classified ads that catch eyeballs and sell products, majority of people out there tires and give up even before giving classifieds ad writing a full hearted try. Classified ads writing techniques are simple and easy to adopt. Yet, lot of people seem to miss the techniques of writing classifieds ads that attract potential customers. How to Write Classifieds Ad Title that Creates Interest in Potential Customers Title plays all the most important role in writing a classified ad. Title shoots away to the readers what you have to sell. That is right the title must shoot into the eyeballs of the reader what you have to sell. Some examples of good classifieds ad titles (headline) can be: 2002 Honda Accord Black $ 13,400 Pomeranian 14 Weeks, White Pup $ 450 You say nothing outrageous. Yet readers of the classified ads have a choice to contact you. People reading classified ads are not just browsing. They look for specific products. And the title tells them clearly what they can expect. How to write classified ads description No need to use any adjectives, but tell the facts and figures. Include details like location, condition of the product age of the product (car, pets, antiques etc). Include Price in the Ad Include the price you expect in your classified ad copy. This method eliminates people who are not looking for products in your range and attracts people who are actually looking for product in the price range you ask. Everyone who responds to your ad is pre-qualified as a buyer. Have a Strong Call to Action The readers of the classified ad (your potential customers) need to call you as the first step of buying from you. Give your reader all the good reasons to call you for product details. Instead of using words like 'you can call me at 555-###', use "call me at 555-### to get a clearer idea about my antique collection" (or any product you sell). People like to be told to do things. By starting the sentence with "call me…" or visit "www…." Etc tells the reader to take an action, now. Never Use All Caps Anywhere in the Copy Many people use ALL CAPS (upper case) to make the whole ad. USING ALL CAPS SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECTS THE READABILITY OF THE COPY. Even the titles should be in Upper and Lower Case. Bold Keywords Don't bury keywords in the ad description text. Highlight the keywords by using bold letters. The keywords will catch the attention of your prospective customers even if they decide to just browse over your ad. Include a Photograph You can't include a photograph in newspaper classified ads, but can include one in internet classified ads. Take advantage of the fact that you can include a photograph by using the best picture of the product that you have.
