Navigation links allow the visitors to movearound your site and find the information that they are looking for. Your menu tabs should preferably be displayed prominentlyon the top front.

Some people place the navigation links onthe left while others also recommend putting them at the bottom of the page aswell so that the visitor does not have to scroll up the page to locate thenavigation menu and waste his time. Therefore, make all the importantinformation in your website easily accessible from all its parts. 

Page resolution

There are several page resolution optionsranging from 640 x 480 to 1024 x 768 and some are even higher. You should tryto decide your resolution in terms of percentage and not pixels. It should benoted that a page with higher resolution can contain more content. It alsoreduces the need for scrolling. The page resolution should be uniform all overthe website.

Legible fonts

Do not make the font comic, fancy, flashy,convoluted and therefore unreadable. It is also   necessary that the color scheme of thewebsite should be carefully selected. A dark colored font on a darkerbackground or a bright pink color on green is the sure way to repel the reader.Arial, Verdana, Times New Roman and Tahoma are some of the popular fonts.
