Spiritualtiy Information: Take Responsibility for Your Thoughts
|
A complete paradigm shift away from the separation mentality, and onto the oneness mentality, is the only way to truly bring into our experience the ability to make love-sponsored choices. Only by taking the perspective that we are beautiful, magnificent, intelligent and loving human beings, which the oneness mentality labels us as, can we turn away from the perspective that we are inferior, untrustworthy, and undeserving human beings, which the separation mentality makes us out to be. Unity consciousness says that we are not only allowed to love ourselves, but it is truly necessary to love yourself unconditionally in order for you to give the love within you to another. You can't give away what you do not know yourself to possess. Thinking we are separate leads us to believe that if we give away our love unconditionally we will deplete our love, and we are fearful that our love will not be good enough or acceptable. We must therefore guard against our loss and put conditions on our love. 的 will love you if . . ." is the mantra of fear to which the world subscribes, because I am separate from you, and if I give something to you, I will have less. And my fear of loss is more important than giving you unconditional love. This is why free choice is so important to the life process, because no matter what the stimulus is for thoughts to come to us, we still have free choice about which thoughts we select that we want to manifest in our reality. What we choose to select depends on the perspective we have of ourselves and of our place in the world, relative to our life experiences. If we choose to pursue thoughts which most of society might deem as 澱ad," such as the thoughts and perspectives of Hitler, it doesn't matter to the universe. The creative process is the same and it creates these thoughts in the same manner as every other thought. To the universe, one thought is just as viable as another, and it doesn't judge or condemn any of its own creations. The source of all is here to experience the all through us, the spirit children of the all. We do this by the on going moment-to-moment creation of who we are and who we wish to be. Each thought is creative energy and the free will to select thoughts we wish to energize into our reality is how we define ourselves. Since the thoughts are on-going, we are constantly in an on-going process of creating ourselves. Once we view the creative process from this perspective we begin to understand how powerful our thoughts are. When we realize that 努e are what we think," then it behooves us to monitor what we think. If we can better understand who we wish to be, we can then begin to choose those thoughts that guide us in that direction. So the best thing you can do for yourself is to first determine who you want to be, then begin selecting the thoughts that you can use to create that beingness. This may take a little discipline on your part to actually sit down and become very clear about who you want to be. Once you establish this concept in your head then you need to focus on it to the exclusion of all other possibilities. Be very clear about it and think of nothing else. If you catch yourself having doubt, put that doubt out of your head and remain true to your concept. As you continue to do this, you refine your thinking to reflect your concept and your resolve becomes more steadfast in the seeking of its fruition. As you lose any pessimism you may have started with, you begin to identify yourself with the concept you hold of yourself. With this identity established within you, you can begin to speak the truth of yourself to others. You can call on the universe by declaring your concept of yourself in the powerful 的 am" statements you make to others and to yourself. The universe recognizes the declarative power of 的 am," so whatever you think or say after 的 am" sends a strong creative message that cannot be ignored. The universe responds to these 的 am" messages and sends back to you the experiences that they call forth. By monitoring our thoughts, we begin to think about what we are thinking about. All thoughts are based in either love or fear. We can analyze each thought and reach inside ourselves to see if a thought is love-sponsored or fear-sponsored. Does a thought serve our purpose or does it negate our highest idea about something? You have free will to choose which thoughts serve you, so use this powerful tool and choose only those thoughts that are sponsored by love. Let go of those thoughts that do not serve you. If your intent is to define yourself by your thoughts then you will develop the discipline needed to begin this monitoring process. The key to defining and creating ourselves as we truly wish to be, is to select our thoughts consciously. When we consciously select the thoughts we wish to create, we move toward our pre-selected determination by creating the events and experiences necessary to do that. When we are unconscious in our thought selection, we still select thoughts in which to create but we are unaware of which thoughts we are pursuing and are too often caught off guard by our creations. Unexpected events and experiences show up in our lives and we don't see the relationship between the event and our creation of it. Because of this we disown our creation and declare that we are not responsible for it, not realizing that we created that experience. The fact is that you have created yourself as who you are in every moment of your life, and who you are right now is the sum of those creations. The fantastic thing about this is that if there is something that you don't like about yourself, then all you have to do is choose the thoughts that you do like and change yourself to fit them. That is, re-create yourself anew. You are doing that anyway, unconsciously, so why not do it consciously. When you do this consciously you view the events and experiences of your life differently. You begin to see that what shows up in your life is what you created, and from that perspective you understand that you should accept these events as your own and take responsibility for them.
