Sprint Headquarters - Still Showing Strong
|
Since merging with Nextel, news from Sprint headquarters has sometimes been good for its customers. For example, Sprint announced a new program for its Nextel Direct customers wherein they could now choose from several different custom plans, making it possible to save money by not having to pay for services that they don't think they need. This represents a definite breakthrough in how business customers can have more control over their mobile communications services, and especially more control over the cost. This is an exciting turn of events which shows that those at Sprint headquarters are working hard to develop better programs for all of their customers. News from Sprint headquarters is not always good. With the current economic situation the way it is, Sprint also announced that it would have to cut labor costs. Going along with what a lot of companies have been doing and will be doing, jobs will be lost. A lot of companies, however, make these plans without telling employees until the last minute, and Sprint has chosen not to do this. A lot of the employees that will leave—and Sprint claims that this will happen in all levels—will be offered generous severance packages to voluntarily leave their jobs. Many times this is a better way to ease transitions for employees when they are leaving one job and looking for another. Good or bad, news from Sprint headquarters will most likely always contain news that business for this strong telecommunications company will go on as usual. Most likely, as the economy strengthens, Sprint will once again start building up its labor force while it continues to strive to be a frontrunner in telecommunication technology. Satisfied customers are glad to know that this company will probably be around for a long time. About The Author: |
