Are you struggling, trying to grow your Melaleuca business? Well, the truth is that most people in the network marketing industry are struggling - they join this industry, thinking that succeeding will be easy, they do everything the company tells them to do, and what happen? They end up failing! Actually this is how it goes for 97 % of the people in this industry and that goes for Melaleuca as well. That is really the reason why I've written this article - I want to give you an overview of what you shouldn't be doing, and more important, what you should be doing so you can avoid failing.

To succeed you have to:

1. Stop trying to grow your Melaleuca business by working your "warm market". Your family members and friends aren't your prospects, so I'll suggest that you stop wasting their and your time bugging them about these great products and even more outstanding opportunity.

2. Stop handing out free samples, business cards, flyers and other stuff like that. Again - you are just wasting your time, because this will not help your business grow.

3. Stop going to hotel/home meetings, because this will not help you either. You will not get the right information on what to do, and therefore you shouldn't go at all - or bring anyone else for that matter.

4. Stop thinking that your business will explode the moment you get a replicated website, because it really won't. You should without a doubt grow your Melaleuca business on the internet, but a replicated website has nothing to do with this.

And more important, you should:

5. Start forgetting everything the company has told you to do. If you want to succeed with your Melaleuca business, you need to stop wasting your time on techniques that have a 97 % high failure rate to prove them wrong.

6. Start recognizing that this is a real business, and you need to treat it as a real business. Growing ANY business will take time and effort, and that goes for your Melaleuca business as well. You can't expect to succeed just by finding a couple of new distributors who do the same etc. If it really was that easy, why would the failure rate be so high?

7. Start educating yourself in marketing. Marketing is all about knowing your audience and therefore you have to learn how to target your market, how to properly prospect etc. If you want to succeed in the network marketing industry you need to become a marketer.

8. Start using the internet. As I just mentioned, this is the right way to grow your Melaleuca business. Not by having a replicated website, because that won't do you any good. The internet is a very powerful tool, and even though you may think that you can't learn how to use it, you CAN - and once you've learned to master the internet, you can grow your Melaleuca business without any limits.

So, what's holding you back? If you want to succeed in this industry, you really can, you just have to remember the above, and start doing things right. When you start doing that, you will succeed with your Melaleuca business.
