First of all when you buy a superman comforter it is more than the comforter that you pay for. There are hidden costs in it. The most important ones are for the brands. Superman is a very well known brand and thus a very costly one. If you area superman fan the best way is to rent the videocassettes or buy the DVDs. This sort of marketing is one of the worst ones too. Think about it! How many other cartoon characters have reached this point of actually being sold printed on a comforter. This is just too much. Now after reading my first point you could say. Hey! I did some online search and the prices are quite affordable. Yes they are. But by any chance, did you manage to look at what the actual comforter was made of? I bet that it is the cheapest material around. You are simply losing value if you buy items that contain costs like this. There is of course another side of this dilemma. When buying a superman comforter, some money goes to the creator of the cartoons themselves. This is perhaps the single reason for which I agree with copyright related marketing. But again there are exceptions, because where there is copyright there is also piracy. These things go hand in hand. In the United States the copyright laws are very well defined and as we speak there is an ongoing battle which keeps piracy at a minimum, but there is another problem. Most of these comforters actually come from other countries, where copyright is only seen as some amusing joke. In the end though if you really like the Superman cartoons or movies feel free to buy, but if you are a true fan make sure at least that the product you buy is legit. There are too many problems already with the copyright issue. Think of the extra money spent as an investment. An investment into your own peace of mind. If possible also make sure that the product you buy is also of good quality. Your mind won't notice the difference too much, but your body will. Nothing compares to a quality comforter and there are producers out there who offer this. You will have to look hard, but in the end you will find them.
