Tamagotchi Version 4 is the most recently released toy of its kind sold outside Japan. The attraction of this latest model is that the owner of the toy has complete control over the destiny of their chosen protégé. For the first time in the lifespan of Tamagotchi, owners will be able to mentor a character through different stages of life by playing games, earning points and helping them find their dream job. The owner will ultimately be able to choose their Tamagotchi's career, perhaps living out personal fantasies and of course having fun in the process. The slogan 'Start livin' the Tamagotchi life!' suggests that your own life is probably not comparable to the excitement and thrills which a Tamagotchi toy can offer. In the new Tamagotchi V4 range new owners are invited to find their dream job. In this faraway world of plastic delight 'dream jobs' take the form of working in the bank, arranging flowers, flying jets, making a scientific discovery or applying makeup. Something for everyone it would seem. So where do Tamagotchis go for their education? Why, TamaTown of course! Version 4 TamaTown allows owners to see their character on the computer screen where they can meet other Tamagotchi friends, go to kindergarten, school or work. Gifts can be exchanged, games can be played and jobs are awarded to those Tamagotchis who have been raised well. Other added attractions of this small playmate include the chance to earn Gotchi points to purchase new items, and also the new post feature which allows owners to receive good fortune, exciting news or even visits from the King of Tamagotchi himself. The excitement doesn't end there, however. Each new character from Tamagotchi V4 has a quirky individual personality, age, gender and appearance. Owners can choose the most appealing character on offer and mould them into any role they see fit. New V4 owners will love the new characters as well as the ever popular Mametchi, Memetchi and Kutchipatchi. There are a variety of loveable new characters just waiting to be adored, and once you've got the hang of Tamagotchis you might even progress to making real life friends with names you can pronounce.
